Ive been dabbling in creating websites and it’s been very interesting ,what with HTML and CSS and PHP and the like.
Blogs and CMS’s and WordPress , Joomla ..the list goes on ! Well ive been going ok but when it came to editing a page it was hard when learning how to put it all together.
I would make a change and then “whamo” things go haywire and the whole page looks ruined and i’d not have a clue why.
Enter Firefox Firebug. It’s fantastic , it gives you all the info you need…you can edit the page as you look at it and see what will happen if you do .
You can highlight a part of the site and it gives you the kitchen sink on what’s selected…like i said Fantastic
It’s really helped me in applying styles and div’s and the like and helped to clear up things i was unsure about.
If your going to create web pages using HTML and Css then you HAVE to get this tool.
